THE VOICE IS ALREADY YOURS

Rewrite in your own writing voice

A good edit should make your writing easier to recognize.

Start with writing that sounds like you.

Add two to five samples that you own or have permission to use. A profile needs 300–10,000 words in total. We recommend at least 1,000 words for more useful evidence. Shorter profiles show a limited-evidence notice.

Local style observations look for simple patterns such as sentence length, contractions, and first-person language. These are heuristics, not a psychological assessment or a deep model analysis. They become editable suggestions you can correct.

Write your own rules.

Prefer direct openings? Natural contractions? Short paragraphs with the occasional longer explanation? Say so in the profile summary. Explicit preferences take priority over generic editing defaults, while source-preservation rules remain in place.

You can edit or delete a profile from My voice. New rewrites use the current profile version, while active jobs retain their frozen settings. Trial and Starter support one profile; Creator supports three.

Learning should be deliberate.

Ordinary accept/reject decisions do not silently retrain your profile or change a shared model. To remember a preference, edit and save it explicitly in My voice.

A request for more personality does not authorize invented anecdotes or experiences. Supply your real context, or keep the draft conservative. The editor asks for missing detail rather than inventing your life.
