CARE FOR THE IMPORTANT DETAILS

Protect facts, quotes, code, and links while rewriting

A clearer sentence should not become a different claim.

Exact locks keep exact text.

The editor detects quotations, numbers, code snippets, URLs, and citation identifiers. You can add product names, technical terms, and other phrases to your protected list. Exact content is masked during editing and restored after generation. The validator checks that these details survive.

Detection is imperfect. Inspect the Protected panel and add any important terms the automatic scan missed. Code and protected terms are excluded from billable words, but still count toward context and document limits.

Meaning needs a second look.

A separate model pass compares the original and candidate for changed negation, certainty, attribution, invented experiences, and consequential factual changes. Candidates that fail checks are repaired within a bounded attempt budget or blocked without consuming words.

These checks are fallible. They are one layer of review, not proof that the candidate is correct. Read financial, medical, legal, technical, and other consequential claims carefully before using them.

Preserved does not mean verified.

We compare your result with the draft you supplied. We do not browse linked sources or independently establish that your original facts are true. A protected figure can still be wrong in the source.

The review label says “Protected details checked against your draft.” It never means that external fact verification was performed. You retain the final editorial decision.
